Our Services

The Community of Friends of God provides the following services:

1.      Sunday Divine Services. Everyone is welcome to attend our Sunday Divine Services. The purpose of our divine service is to provide opportunity to worship and enjoy fellowship with like minded people. Our Sunday services starts at 11AM and ends at 1 PM.

2.      Eucharist Services: At the Community of Friends of God we celebrate Holy Communion. Eucharist can be performed for several purposes. One important purpose of celebrating the Eucharist is  to enable believers to experience and deepen the awareness of the presence of Living Christ in the believer’s heart. Through meditations and contemplation believers are taught how they can experience the presence of Christ as a living reality in their hearts. This is the goal of all mystics, especially Christian mystics. We hold Eucharist services on every Sunday and Thursday every week. You are welcome to join us to celebrate the living Christ in your hearts.

3.      Healing Services: The Community of Friends of God provides healing services on every first Sunday of every month. Healing services will start at 1.30PM after the Sunday Worship. If you need healing or laying of hand with anointing, please contact the Presiding Bishop at the Community of Friends so that healing services can be arranged for you. ALL HEALING SERVICES ARE CONDUCTED FREE OF CHARGE.

4.      Naming Ceremony Service: The Community of Friends of God believes that the birth of a child is a great blessing to the family, church and to the nation. The beginning of the individual life of a person starts with his or naming ceremony. Naming ceremony is well established in Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and in African Tradition religion (IFA). Naming ceremony is not only the time to celebrate the coming of new life but is it a time to establish and pour blessings on the newly born child so that his or her purpose in life can be realised in the world. If you will want the Community of Friends of God to assist you to conduct a naming ceremony of your family, please do not hesitate to contact the Presiding Bishop of the Community of Friends.

5.      Child Dedication Services:  Child dedication services give you opportunity to present your child to the Lord. This service is in keeping with the religious tradition of the Jews and Christianity. Samuel, John, and Jesus were dedicated to the Lord. It is a way of invoking unfailing divine blessings on  your child. If you will want the Community of Friends of God to assist you to conduct a naming ceremony of your family, please do not hesitate to contact the Presiding Bishop of the Community of Friends.

6.      Baptism: The Community of Friends of God believes that the first initiation to a spiritual life of an individual either a child or an adult is baptism. Baptism marks the first step to a long journey for transformation which leads to immortality.
